Following on from the wonderful snowfall of the winter the start of spring has been heralded by sunshine, signs of warmth and plenty of new photo opportunities
Towards the end of the spring and the new dawn of summer the wonderful bright colours of tulips light up the darkest corners.
Fortunately this was the Northumberland Fire & Rescue Service undertaking some training with a recovered stolen car
that would otherwise be either burnt out in some local park or being crushed at the local scrap yard
With the onset of springtime up pop the fruiting bodies of the mosses on a stone wall beside a railway line,
making a wonderful minature forest landscape
One of my favourite views in the country but with competition from so many other views in the Cumbrian Lake District
- this is the view towards Keswick from beside the route up to Castle Crag, Borrowdale.
